1. Service overview
sheet maker is a free service that provides automatic piano transcription of audio files, browser-based score creation, editing, and playback, and a shared score gallery. All features are free, and the service is operated on ad revenue.
2. Copyright and user responsibility
- Audio files you upload are processed only inside your browser and are not sent to a server. However, you must have the lawful right to use those files.
- If you submit to the gallery a score transcribed from someone else's work, responsibility for any copyright infringement lies with the submitter. The operator may reject or remove the posting of scores suspected of infringement.
- Copyright in scores you compose yourself belongs to you. Submitting to the gallery is deemed consent for other users to view and play that score.
3. Gallery posting criteria
- Gallery submissions are posted after operator review (usually within 1–2 days).
- Copyright infringement, titles/nicknames containing obscene or hateful expressions, and spam submissions may be rejected.
- If you want a posted score removed, please request it via the contact address.
4. Limitations of the service
- Due to the nature of AI models, automatic transcription may not exactly match the original.
- The service is provided "as is", and the operator is not liable, to the extent permitted by law, for damages arising from service interruptions or errors.
- Scores saved in your browser (localStorage) may be lost if you clear browser data, so download important scores as PDF/MIDI to keep them.
